Out on the World Wide Web!

Yes, we're on the internet. Thanks to the Gay Brighton section of the Virtual Brighton web site, the Brighton Ourstory Project is now on-line to the world.

Marvellous photographs

We've spent several months putting our pages together to include not just details of who we are and how to contact us, but also a mince down our own very special memory lane entitled Brighton's Queer Past. It takes you from the unnatural crimes of George Wilson on Brighton beach in 1822, to the 1930s lesbian haven of Pigott's bar at the St James Tavern on the corner of St James' Street and Madeira Place, and more besides. Our web site also features a selection of some of the marvellous photographs from the archive and a general invitation to get involved.

We hope to expand the site in the future, but for the moment we're just chuffed to have gotten this far!
