Pulp, pics and papers

Recent donations to the archive have been especially treasurely. Thanks to the farsightedness of Richard Smith, associate editor of Gay Times, we are now the proud owners of over 500 photographs which Millivres were clearing from their files. Thank you Richard and thank you Vicky and Anna for bringing the photos to Brighton.

We've also been chuffed by the gift of nearly a hundred lesbian pulp paperbacks. All the old favourites - Whisper Our Love, Women in the Shadows - are now in the archive as well as mint rarities like Deliver Her to Evil -

'Gorgeous, innocent, unsiphisticated, she was the perfect prey for the vice ring that made her a Lesbian lust-slave'.

We're going to enjoy pouting in baby doll nighties and ostrich feather mules while we catalogue them.

Last but not least came a set of the 42 Club programmes from Walter and Gerry and a weighty suitcase, the first instalment of papers donated by visionary queer activist, Arthur Law. Thank you Walter and Gerry and thank you Arthur.
