Issue 14 . Winter 2003
Shamefully few of Brighton & Hove’s lesbian and gay residents have been honoured with a commemorative plaque, but, as reported in the Argus, plans are being made for a plaque to mark the former home of Lord Alfred Douglas, poet, Hoveite and “close friend” of Oscar Wilde.
Those of you in a giving mood are encouraged to contribute to the appeal, which has the support of Bosie’s great-nephew, Lord Gawain.
